I no this might b old but what happened 2 the Dixie chicks that was so bad?

The lead singer told a London audience a couple of years ago that she was ashamed that Bush was from Texas. The song they won so many Grammy Awards this year for was Not Ready to Make Nice, a follow up on the political statement. Since many people don't know how to read the Bill of Rights, a big stink was made over the original statement & they have never regained their country audience.
