Is your religion against leaving some food uneaten, and insists on polishing off all that's on your plate?

I am not a man for notions and I do not believe everything written. All religions have good intentions and the road to hell is paved with good intentions. Saving your own food you have on your plate for later is reasonable, but I think perhaps the reason for that rule is the contagion fear and putting up a fight against affliction if it ends your appetite, but those are not factually informed rules. Heat kills microbes; that is a factually informed rule derived from sensory perception and its extension using the microscope.
