If im an American moving to Europe would it be extremely difficult to adjust?

i hear they have mini fridges as the standard size, and stuff like that. Im thinking of moving somewhere like Munich or Frankfurt, but still indecisive. We are having a hard time finding a high school and a four bedroom apartment or house. Any help would be great! Thanks!
