Who is David Rockefeller and the Rothschild and how are they influencing the world?

Well there is a lot of controversy saying that David Rockefeller and the rest of the Rockefeller and the Rothschild own America. well when i was doing my research it said that the Rockefeller purchased the Britannica encyclopedia and changed what it had to say about the catholic church. Can someone tell me if this is true and if so where can i find the unchanged version of the encyclopedia.
