Should I go to summer camp this summer?

Well I wanted to Mill Basin Day Camp this summer. It costs about 2950 dollars for 7 weeks. My parents think it's too expensive. I offered to pay as much as I can with my birthday money. They said I have to pay with all the money i get till i pay off the 2950. Now im reconsidering. Is it worth it?
